  Boston. Planted Spring 1890. Tree a strong grower. Fruit of medium size, roundish, oval. Skin bright yellow with a red cheek. Flesh yellow, sweet, rich. Season early September.
  Downton. Planted Spring 1890. Tree a strong grower. Fruit of medium size, roundish, oval. Skin pale green, with a red cheek. Flesh pale green, tender, with a rich flavor. Season last of August.
  Early Violet. Planted Spring 1890. Tree a strong grower. Fruit small, round, flattened. Skin yellowish-green, with a reddish cheek. Flesh pale green, melting and rich, with a fine flavour. Season last of August.
  Hardwick. Planted Spring 1891. Tree a strong grower. Fruit large, roundish, oval. Skin pale green, with a dull red cheek. Flesh pale green, juicy, pleasant and rich. Season last of August.
